I can't stress strong enough how important it is to learn how to research franchises and business opportunities before you write that fat check.

Many people use equity in their homes and their retirement savings to purchase these businesses making this investment just as important or even more important than any other purchase you might make.

I don't know of any under graduate or graduate or any business school for that matter, that teaches you how to make these type purchases and inform you of what to consider and look for.
